The different ideas between Dr. Janice Foster & George Hambley positive go up produce a greater range of animals catastrophe very serious
Part 4(Paragraph 7) It’s up to readers to think and decide whether people should do something about global warming or not
Everyone believes that it is humanactivity that has caused this global warming. The increase in the earth’s temperature is dueto the burning of fossil fuels like coal, natural gas and oil. Some byproducts of this process are called greenhousegases. Such gases can trap heat from the sun and therefore warm the earth, which is called the greenhouseeffect. But we add huge quantitiesof extra greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, causing the global temperature to goup. However, the attitudes of scientists towards this rise are completely different. Dr forster thinks that the trend which increases the temperature by 5degrees would be a catastrophe. But, George Hambley holds the wiew that any warming will be mildwith few bad environmental consequences. More greenhouse gases will make plants grow quicker; crops will produce more; it will encourage a greaterrange of animals. What is your attitude towards global warming? prepare for the worst! hope the best!
