  3. Objectives: 目标 • To differentiate between the Oriental and Western viewpoints on life • To appreciate why what is obvious to you is not obvious to a foreigner • 要分辨東方人和西方人的價值觀 • 要了解為什麼對你而言是理所當然的,但對外國人來說並不容易!

  4. About the Artist: 劉揚於 • 1976 Birth • 1989 at 13 moved with family to Germany • 1993 at 17 entered Berlin University of the Arts, Department of Design. Graduating with Bachelor and Masters degree. • Worked in London, Berlin, New York • 2004: Start own design studio in Berlin • Taught and displayed his work at numerous locations. • 1976年生於北京。 • 13歲隨家人遷居德國。 • 17歲時被德國柏林藝術大學設計系錄取,師從於霍爾格 .馬諦斯,獲碩士及大師班學位。 • 畢業後曾先後在倫敦、柏林、紐約工作及生活。 • 零四年在柏林開始自己的設計工作室。 • 曾任教於荷蘭設計中心、中國中央美術學院設計系、英國格拉斯歌美術學院,並在國際設計研討會及博覽會講座。劉揚的作品曾多次在國際設計大賽中獲重要獎項,作品被國際多家博物館展覽並收藏。
