  2. What is Forklift Licence? Forklift Licenceis a certificate which is required for every operator to operate forklift at a workplace within Australia. Basically, it is a certificate which is earned by every operator which authorize their employers to recruit them for the safe operations at workplace. There are different categories of Forklift Licence Training – basic, refresher and specialist.

  3. Why Forklift Licence is Necessary? As per New South Wales Safety and Health Department, Forklift Licenceis compulsory to those workmen who want to operate forklifts in a workplace. If the forklift operator will not be licensed or properly trained, it can increase the safety issues at workplace. Thus is required to be licensed in order to minimize the safety issues as well as the damage.

  4. Why Forklift Licence is Necessary? Forklift Licence NSW also enable operator to maintain the forklift in the good condition which results in less wear and tear of the parts as well as in cost reduction. Licensed Forklift Operator can check and ensures the proper working of the loads, fluid, battery and other equipments of forklift. In addition to this, licensed forklift operators earn more money than non licensed operators.

  5. Risks Associated With Non Licensed Operators If the forklift operator will not be licensed then it can lead to: Injuries to the operators as well as other workmen Damage to the forklift and workplace property Loss of life Fines from the Health and Safety Dept. No claim

  6. Types of Forklift Licence Forklift Operating Licence are of 2 types: Forklift LF Licence Forklift LO Licence Forklift LF Licence allows to operate any kind of forklift while Forklift LO Licence allows you to operate only order picker forklift.
