  8. Learning Development Centre Provides a range of services and support for ALL students and staff of the School of Engineering and Built Environment Staffed by a team of highly experienced Academic Development Tutors and Learning Technologists

  9. Learning Development Centre The primary aim of LDC is to support and enhance the learning experience of our students. The Learning Development Centre offers a range of services including: General academic guidance and advice Support with study skills Help with academic writing skills Use of assistive technologies for learning Study skills workshops Point of information for general study related questions Links to the many other forms of support

Learning Development Centre Tutors work with students in a variety of ways: Face-to-face (Individual or group) Online appointments Drop-in sessions for short 10-minute consultations Programme-specific tailored workshops Provide advice on language learning On-line materials The LDC connects with specialist support across the university. The service is inclusive. It is free and confidential.
