Adding a Class Select Teacher Tools from the menu that showed up after using the orange icon at the bottom of the screen. When you choose to add a new class, you will insert your name, the period, the location, and what a passing grade would be and then click Add.
Adding Students Once you gave the class a name, you will select to Add students to your class. The students can be added by clicking on the Students tab near the top of the page or by importing the data from an Excel document.
Adding Students From Excel If you want to import your students from an Excel file you will need to create that file ahead of time. The three columns must be in order: Student ID, First Name, Last Name. You can add a fourth column for emails if you wish. After you select the class to import, pick the student tab at the top and your students will be there.
Your Gradebook View Once you input the initial information, such as your name, the name for the response units, etc., you can access your gradebook to add students, start an assessment, and examine reports.
