What is it? • Socrative is a smart web-based student response system that empowers teachers to engage their classrooms through a series of educational exercises and games. • It runs on smartphones, tablets and laptop.
How it works? • Teachers login through their device and select an activity which controls the flow of questions and games. http://m.socrative.com/lecturer/#lecturerLogin • Students simply login with their device and interact real time with the content.http://m.socrative.com/student/#joinRoom

Different ways of using it: • Real-time formative assessment- True or False questions- Multiple choice questions- Short answer questions • Exit tickets - Check in on your students' understanding - Gather responses with the material- Answer to questions you create in real time or before class • Pre-prepared quiz • Games (Space Race)-Engage your students in fun exercises that track their performance while they're playing
What I like about it~ • Engage the class using any web-enabled devices and any internet browsers • Instantly project students’ responses(e.g. can see common mistakes from students.) • Students’ responses are aggregated and exported to an easy to read report.(i.e. can view reports online as a google spreadsheet or as an emailed Excel file.)
