This research examines the destructive effects of salt on our roads and explores alternatives, such as beet juice, which can potentially mitigate the damage while being environmentally friendly. Through survey data and visual presentations, we discuss the importance of adopting practices similar to those of other regions ("grey states") that have successfully integrated beet juice into their road maintenance strategies. A thorough overview of the findings and methodologies, along with a detailed bibliography, highlights the need for innovative solutions in road treatment.
