  5. Adjust Your Expectations If you like taking hikes, make sure to start including your grandchildren in them. You might have to set your expectations in advance of what is actually an easy outing. It’s a great way to see just how much life is in nature, whether it’s listening to the birds or seeing the many different insects running around the plants. World Environment Day is a great time to not only reconnect with nature but to reconnect with you family as well. Taking time to instill a love of nature in your grandchildren will be something they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
