  7. Do we want to be filled with the Spirit? We would like to be able to be filled with the Spirit, or full of the Spirit, and then more or less do as we please. But the Holy Spirit who inspired the Scriptures will expect obedience to the Scriptures. And if we do not obey the Scriptures, we will quench Him. He will have obedience and people do not want to obey the Lord. Every believer is as full of the Spirit as we actually want to be. A.W. Towzer
