  3. This Concept is being used in diverse ways Lovett Weems calls for adaptive leadership in his quest to downsize the structure and financing of the Connection

  4. This Concept is being used in diverse ways Rudy Rasmus and Dottie Escobedo-Frank call for a “Jesus Insurgency” to transform the church from the edges

  5. Authentic Spirit Filled Adaptive Leaders • Are grounded in Scripture and God’s gracious presence • Adhere to core values • Pursue strategic missional goals • Respond to evolving culture and context • Seek information from the edges & the marginalized • Actually make changes
