FE Exam Dates: When is the FE Exam Offered • Do you know what’s good about the FE exam schedule? • Its flexibility! • The FE exam test dates are not fixed at all. • The FE exam is offered all year round. • You can take the FE exam whenever you want — on any day, week, or month of the year, except Sundays and important holidays.

When Are You Eligible to Take the FE Exam? • Since the FE exam dates are available during your final year of college, you become eligible to take the FE exam in the last semester of your final college year and you can take it at any stage of your life.  • However: • It is best to take the FE exam as early as possible – at the end of your final year or recently after your graduation. We recommend taking the FE exam in the last semester of your final college year. • Because: • The knowledge and information regarding different topics are fresh in your mind while you are studying, so you won’t have to do much preparation for FE and may not find the FE exam very hard.

NCEES® FE Exam Approved Centers • NCEES® has partnered with Pearson VUE, so all the FE exams are conducted at approved Pearson VUE test centers. • If you are a resident of the United States, you can go onto this section on the NCEES® website and find official test center locations that are nearest to you. • However, if you don’t live in the United States but are willing to take the test, you can visit this page on the NCEES® website to find test center locations in your country. • Test center locations: • NCEES partners with Pearson VUE to administer its computer-based exams. Find the NCEES-approved Pearson VUE test centers closest to you.

International registration • North American and U.S. territory examinees may sit for the exam at any NCEES-approved test center located in North America, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. However, if you are approved to register for the exam through an international entity other than Canada, you must take your exam at an NCEES-approved test center in that country.
