On October 25, 2012, Douglas, Wyoming, celebrated Weatherization Day with an event that showcased the hard work and dedication of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). Amidst a snowy backdrop, Brenda Ilg and her team organized informational displays, welcomed attendees, and received a proclamation from the Governor. Despite the cold, community members, including staff from Senator Barrasso’s office, joined in to recognize the successes achieved through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Together, they highlighted the impact of weatherization on energy efficiency and community well-being.
