Inhibition of Nrf2 Activity by Dominant-Negative Nrf2 Vector in Colo-357 Cells
This study investigates the impact of a dominant-negative Nrf2 (DN-Nrf2) vector on Nrf2 activity in Colo-357 cells. Following a 24-hour transfection with either the control or DN-Nrf2 vector, cells were harvested, and total cell lysates were analyzed through immunoblotting. The results confirmed the inhibition of Nrf2 activity by measuring target gene products, including HO-1. This approach provides insight into the role of Nrf2 signaling in cellular responses and its potential therapeutic implications in cancer biology.

After 24 hr of transfection with control or DN-Nrf2 vector, cells were harvested, and total cell lysates were used for immunoblotting assay analysis as described in Material and Methods.
