  4. Specific Objectives • NCP support services more consistent across Europe and ICPC • Lower entry barriers for new comers • Simplify access to FP7 calls and important information from the EC • Disseminate and utilise results of the project

  7. General and Specific Training Courses The courses provide basic practical information on how to perform the tasks of an NCP and address new issues challenging their work. The aim of these courses is to build capacity especially to newcomers. Exchange of experiences and identification of best practices is an important component of the training program.

  8. Networking Activities Health NCPs meet on a regular basis for discussions around common NCP problems, sharing of experiences and presentation of research potential in the different countries. Health NCPs interact with NCPs from other FP7 themesin order to promote the understanding of the Health Theme and to identify common interests in research. HEALTH-NCP-NET is represented at health related international events in order to increase the visibility of the network and the FP7 to researchers.

  9. Cooperation with ICPCs The cooperation with Contact Points in ICPC will ensure that they have the necessary tools, guidelines and training to carry out their duty ICPC CPs are encouraged and expected to participate in all programmes and activities organized by the project, especially in networking and brokerage events, the twinning and staff exchange programmes and training sessions. ICPCs will also contribute to the production of the NCP handbook of best practices and will be part of the mapping of NCPs and CPs One of the success indicators of this project is the enlargement of ICPC NCP network, beyond the existing one
