  3. WHAT IS COMMON CORE?

Common Core Standards Building on the excellent foundation of standards states have laid, the Common Core State Standards are the first step in providing our young people with a high-quality education. It should be clear to every student, parent, and teacher what the standards of success are in every school.

  5. Mission Statement The Common Core State Standards provide a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn, so teachers and parents know what they need to do to help them. The standards are designed to be robust and relevant to the real world, reflecting the knowledge and skills that our young people need for success in college and careers. With American students fully prepared for the future, our communities will be best positioned to compete successfully in the global economy.

  8. Common Core was put into the Stimulus Bill. Race to the Top money was given to each state after they promised to log on to the Common Core Standards Forty-five states adopted the Core, nearly all in a span of three months in 2010 without knowing what Common Core was

  10. PRIVATE SCHOOLS, CHARTER SCHOOLS, AND HOMESCHOOLERS ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM COMMON CORE

  11. PARENTS WILL LOSE THE ABILITY TO HAVE ANY SAY IN THEIR CHILDRENS’ EDUCATION. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WILL BE THE FIRST AND LAST AUTHORITY IN THE EDUCATION OF YOUR CHILDREN

DATA MINING: (sometimes called data or knowledge discovery) is the process of analyzing data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information - information that can be used to increase revenue, cuts costs, or both. Data mining software is one of a number of analytical tools for analyzing data. It allows users to analyze data from many different dimensions or angles, categorize it, and summarize the relationships identified. Technically, data mining is the process of finding correlations or patterns among dozens of fields in large relational databases.
