  16. Nothing is eternal, but the timely maintenance and improvement makes systems work flawlessly. The investment activities of RUS provide for the reproduction of the communal infrastructure, the increase of its capacities, the growth of the operational efficiency and quality of public utility services. The cooperation with RUS enables regions to invest extra-budgetary resources into the housing and public facilities and to attract funds of the federal budget. During the years of its activities, RUS has implemented more than 200 investment projects and has invested over RUR 12 bln. Reconstruction of water supply system of Perm city (Chusov water intake) – over RUR 800 mln. Reconstruction of Biological Water Treatment Facilities of Perm city – RUR 842 mln. Modernization of Power Supply Facility MO, the Perm Territory for the purpose of increasing the power supply reliability for consumers and loss enhancement – RUR 732 mln.
