  2. What Is Learning Commons? • It is a new concept where everyone is a participant in the learning process (including teachers) • Which is very different from the traditional way of teaching, where the teachers know everything

  3. Continued…. • It can happen in groups where you learn from each other and help each other out when needed • Everyone knows something you don’t know so don’t mind asking someone for help!

Learning commons can happen anywhere, not just in a classroom • It can be in the public library • We also spend a large time on the computer whether it be catching up on the latest news, looking for a good place to go vacationing or maybe just asking for help on homework, that is also learning commons Commons Happen? Where can Learning

  5. Mr. Tong; Teachers getting together and sharing ideas for the best way of teaching. It nay also mean to come together for a common goal. Ms. Wadia Ideas and next steps fro students in order to improve learning skills. Different students may have different learning skills and speeds. Ms. Huh; Students that know their own strengths and learning styles so that they can improve their skills using the learning style they prefer. Mrs. Maliszewski; It is a different way of looking at education. Learning commons can happen anywhere not just in the classroom i.e.; virtually on blogs and chat rooms.
