The North West Alcohol Forum in October 2005 highlighted growing concerns around alcohol use among parents and children, emphasizing the community's role in addressing these challenges. With alarming statistics showing rising rates of alcohol-related issues, such as mental health admissions and absenteeism, it has become crucial to mobilize entire communities for intervention and prevention. This initiative aims to raise awareness, implement targeted programs, and foster collaboration across health, education, and justice sectors to combat the harmful effects of alcohol on society.
