  3. Gelatin silver print • Gelatin silver process is the photographic process used for black-and-white films and printing papers • This is a light-sensitive material that are stable under normal conditions

  4. FIRENZE 1960 • The lighting is natural, the lighting is coming from the left side of the photo • The lighting is great alot of dark lighting and light lighting • The main subject is the statue, I can tell because it’s the first thing that grabs my attention • The composition is in rule of thirds the bottom right and middle bottom to top of the frame • I think that Elio was making it look like the police officer is kissing the statue • I choose this picture because it shows the humor of Elio

  5. ASSISI 1957 • The lighting is natural, the lighting is coming from the left-front of the frame • I think the lighting is awesome, its like you know that it’s a church but then you don’t know, there is some kind of mystery to it • The main subject is the tallest part of the building, because it’s the first thing that grabs my attention • This is in rule of thirds, its in the upper middle and left of the frame • I think that Elio was giving off a mysterious or edgy feeling to this photograph

  6. PADOVA 1955 • The lighting is natural even though the photo was taken inside because the light is coming from the windows, the light is coming from the right of the frame • The main focus is the man sitting on the bench, because it’s the first thing that catches my eye • This photo has rule of thirds the middle left to right of the frame and leading lines the bench on the bottom left of the frame • Elio shows us that the old man is waiting for something or someone and he is down or sad • I chose this picture because it tells a story about the old man on the bench

  7. FIRENZE 1960 • The lighting is natural it’s coming from the left side of the photo, the lighting is great I like how you can see their shadows • The main subject is the man taking a photo of the man leaning against the wall, because it’s the first thing that catches my eye • The composition has leading lines from the wall, rule of thirds the bottom middle left of the frame, pattern from the walls • I chose this photograph for no real reason it just was interesting to me, you don’t usually see a photograph of someone taking a photograph

  8. Luci sulla spiaggia, Lignano 1961 V • The lighting is natural, the lighting is coming left from the right side of frame, its hard to tell but if you look towards the top left that brush plant thing you can see the shadow going left • The main subject is the plant in the upper left of the photograph, because it’s the first thing that grabs my attention • The composition is leading lines from the sand waves, rule of thirds from the bottom left to right to the middle- upper left to right of the frame • I chose this photograph because I like scenery photographs

  9. Archer's Post, Kenya 1974 • The lighting is natural, I cant tell where the lighting is coming from because I don’t see any shadows • The main subject is the tree to the left by itself, because it’s the first thing that grabs my attention in the photograph • The composition has grouping because of the trees toward the middle, rule of thirds from the tree in the left side for the frame • I don’t know what Elio was trying to show us in this picture I don’t think there is a story here • I chose this photograph because I like scenery photographs and this is a scenery photograph
