This document outlines the essential format and content requirements for AnS 501 pre-proposals, aimed at ensuring that only high-quality research ideas advance to full proposal submission. Pre-proposals, crucial for commodity groups and similar organizations, must be clear, concise, and well-prepared. The guidelines include adherence to the JAS format for references and citations, a two-page limit excluding references, and a submission deadline of October 18 at 1:10 PM. Key components include a descriptive title, background information, hypotheses, experimental design, and objectives.
