5.2 Overview • An interim release of the Britemoon 5.0 platform • The first release since we joined forces with Click Tactics, Inc. • The primary benefits of this release are • improved campaign creation efficiency • increased marketing automation

Best Practices: Suspend Campaign Test Content Changes through cloning Edit Ongoing Campaigns • Standard campaigns (non dynamic content) are editable after campaign launch, thereby eliminating the need to stop and edit the entire campaign in case of a change to a particular parameter. • Select Attributes • From Address • From Name • Subject • Response forwarding • Reply-to • Standard content • Campaign throttle • Send Date

The export includes personalized values and content element names.
Newsletter Preference / Selective Opt-out Support • Improved management and reporting for marketers who maintain user accessible preference forms with selective newsletter subscription functionality (e.g., opt-out of one, but not all newsletters). • All data will be positive for selected newsletter where there is no previous value (‘Y’ or ‘1’) • Does not overwrite opt out value (‘N’ or ‘0’) • Imports with manual mapping of opt-in preferences will overwrite any value in the database • Reporting includes the breakdown of selective opt-outs by newsletter

Content Feed • 5.2 includes functionality to load content into Britemoon in one step. Upon zip file or individual file load, Britemoon will automatically: • Enter html • Enter text • Load images • Reference images in html • Track links (using the Auto Link Naming feature)
External Content Personalization • Pull content feeds from external websites for use within the Content module. Supports certain instances of RSS as well as any site with tagged content. • Delivers CURRENT snap-shot
Microsoft Character Translation Support • 5.2 functionality includes conversion to the proper compatible character upon import for characters often substituted by Microsoft Word for presentation purposes • Eliminates “?”s from content • Automatic conversion each time content is saved
Database Enhancements • Money Attribute • Create money type in the “custom fields” section of the user interface. • Money attributes personalize to two decimal places; and support four decimal places upon import and export. • Act as integer with monetary value • Importing Multi-Valued Fields • Automated FTP and manual import process supports the import of files with multi-valued fields. • File delimiters define both the primary delimiter and multi-valued field delimiter. (e.g. | for primary and ; for multi-valued fields) • Provides added flexibility to database
Deliverability • Bounce Management Enhancements • SPF and Sender ID support • Improves deliverability speed and accuracy while adding compliance to important authentication initiatives leading to increased deliverability
Bounce Management Enhancements • Allows for setting of retry parameters • Default 3/15 is ESPC standard • If you mail less than 3 times in 15 days, set date number higher • Definition of Hard Bounces
