Weekly Objectives~ TLW: understand school and classroom policies and procedures
This week's objectives focus on familiarizing students with classroom policies and daily ELA supplies, allowing for a smooth transition into the new school year. Activities include creating personality profiles, generating writing topics, and drafting poems with specified rhythm and pattern. Students will engage in reviewing classroom guidelines and expectations, creating nameplates, and understanding the importance of strong adjectives. The week will culminate in labeling ELA binders, introducing the "20 Book Challenge," and preparing for creative writing exercises that encourage personal expression and vocabulary development.
