  3. Super Flat Floor Design And Construction In this world, the floors are now getting flat, and now they are becoming more flatter. The measurement of the floor tolerances is said to be the flatness, and it is being forced away from the era of the ruler. The old way of determining the floor flatness was accomplished by placing about 10-foot straightedge which was placed on the surface of the concrete. FF is said to be the flatness number, and it defines the floor’s character curvature which is over 24 inches. FL is the levelness number, and it defines the floor’s characteristics elevation whose difference is over 10 feet. These numbers are then computed from successive point elevation measurements on 12-inch centers, and the numbers are extended from zero to infinity.
