By: Zaira. By: Zaira. The Letter. You wake up at 7:00 in the morning. You usually don’t wake up this early but decide that you wont be able to go back to sleep and get up anyways. You quickly slip into jeans, a red t-shirt, and white runners for going outside to check if you have any mail.

  2. You wake up at 7:00 in the morning. You usually don’t wake up this early but decide that you wont be able to go back to sleep and get up anyways. You quickly slip into jeans, a red t-shirt, and white runners for going outside to check if you have any mail.

  3. You go outside and walk out the front steps towards your mailbox. You open the mailbox excitedly but there is only one letter in there. You open the white envelope confused that that was the only one. The letter reads, ‘meet me in the forest at 12:00 tonight’. You gasp in fear and quickly decide that you will not go into the forest in the night. Its just too dangerous, but you see the other circumstances of the situation and feel the urge to go. You decide to go into the forest You decide that it is too dangerous

  4. That night you stay inside. You quickly pull the covers over top of yourself and shut your eyes when suddenly, you get thrown into a bag! You start to get dragged across the floor! You kick and scream for help but its no use. Suddenly something hard hits your head. You right away black out.

  5. The next time you wake up you are laying on the cement in a place that you don’t know. Where am I? you think to yourself as you slowly stand up. Then, you see a man running towards you. “Take this!” he says as he forcefully puts a small gold elephant with a crooked nose into you hand. You try to reply but before you could do anything he starts sprinting away from you. You stand there confused trying to make out what just happened when a large black truck labeled FBI parks in front of you. Men with guns start flooding out aiming their guns at you. “Put your hands in the air!” one of them yells at you. Choose to do what they say Choose to defy what they say

  6. You choose to not do what they say because you’re not the robber and you shouldn’t be arrested for what you didn’t do right? You start to run away as fast as you can. You hear footsteps behind you and then, suddenly, you get shot on your shoulder with a dart! You quickly faint… embracing the darkness…

  7. The next time you wake up you are staring at an unfamiliar white wall. You sit up to see bars around yourself. You remember that you have a bobby pin and look for the lock. You see it and try playing around to brake it open but it doesn’t work.“Its not going to work you know,” says a police man sitting beside your cell, “It’s the most armed and protected lock throughout the whole prison.” you stare up at him, tears start to roll down your cheeks, how long are you going to be stuck in prison?“Why are you crying?” he turns around again to ask.“I didn’t do it…” you choke out,“You didn’t do what?” he asks again clearly more interested than before,“I didn’t steal the artifact.”

  8. “And how should I believe you?” he scoffs turning back around to his original position in his chair.“I don’t know…” you trail off staring at the ground. For the next three days you stay in jail feeling lonely and sad when on the fourth day something happens. “Get out.” a police man growls at you opening the door to the cell.“Ok…” you trail off walking out. He leads you to a door and leads you out of the building.“You’re free.” he says.“Wait!” you shout before he shuts the door.“What?” he spits back.“How did I get free?”“We found the real criminal.” and with that he slams the door behind him. You decide to go back and ask for more answers You decide to just not care and just be with it

  9. You want more answers so you try opening the door but it won’t open. You sigh in frustration and start to walk around the building for another entrance. You find the main entrance and walk in but when you enter police come and put your hands in handcuffs that pinch your wrists and lead you back to your cell. What was happening? You were free! You try to grab out of their hold but it is no use. While you are struggling to get free you notice the same cop that set you free out of your cell, but this time your eyes judge his face more than before… that was him.THE END

  10. You decide just to go, your free right? You get a taxi to drive you back to your house since you know you have just enough money. The taxi driver forgot to put on the meter so you get a free ride. As you get out a smug smile creeps on to your face. You enter your house. For the next month it is peaceful, until one day you are walking at the park with your friends, and you see the criminal being chased by the cops! You decide to stay with your friends and not care You decide to help the cops and ditch your friends

  11. You decide to go and chase him! Your friends just stand there though in confusion on what you plan on doing. You eyes quickly find him and you chase after him. Since you have decided to wear shorts you are extremely cold since of the wind that is brushing your skin as you run. He stops and turns around to point his gun at you.“Look, I don’t want anyone to get hurt so just stop chasing me and lets all forget about this.” he says pointing his gun to his head. You notice the cops aren’t around and probably lost him. “No! Don’t kill yourself!” you shout before he pulls the trigger.“Why not? I’ve blamed someone else and I’ve stolen something that is probably going to lead me to jail for the rest of my life.” he says.“See! You won’t have to have a life sentence! Hire a lawyer and if you prove how you are sorry then you just might get ten years.”he lifts his gun from his head and put his hands in front of him. You stand there wondering what he is doing when the cops eventually come and put him in handcuffs.THE END

  12. You decide to just stay with your friends, the cops will deal with it. The next day at home you sink yourself into the couch and turn on the TV to the news. A news woman is talking about a criminal. “The police are looking for this man.” a picture of the man in the forest appears,“If you find him please contact 911 right away.” What the… ? You feel like this man is consuming your life so you turn off the TV and just sit there staring out the window when you see him running on the sidewalk! You decide to not care You decide to chase after him

  13. You decide to not care and be lazy when he starts to bang on your door. You sit there almost paralyzed when the door breaks open! You know that there is nothing valuable in you house

  14. One of them comes up to you and puts your hands in handcuffs that pinch your wrists. After that you get thrown in a jail cell, but before the shut the gate leading out you wrestle the cop that is throwing you in. You pin him to the ground and he hits his head against the hard floor! He blacks out and you push him into the cell and take the keys that he has with him and lock it behind yourself as you run away. You feel a surge of fear go throughout your body, you could get into real trouble for this. You see a door so you push it open. The cold hair hits your face as you run out into the alley that it leads to. Before you know it alarms start going off behind you. A warm tear trickles down you cheek, you are a real criminal now.

  15. Suddenly you hear loud footsteps behind you. Even without looking you know that it’s the police. You start running at full speed now. Luckily in school you joined track and are a very fast runner. The footsteps behind you get quieter and quieter until you can’t hear them at all. You know you have lost them but they can still catch up to you, so you slow down a bit but still keep on running at a reasonable speed. You suddenly see a large mall and decide to go into it to be lost in the crowd. You rush through the doors. The police completely lose you and you get away.

  16. Once you get older you get caught and identified as the ‘robber’, but since you are older now you hire a lawyer and are proven innocent. Since you are a witness you help track down whom the real criminal is. One year later you find him and he gets sent to jail.THE END

  17. That night you walk out into the forest with a flashlight in hand. Suddenly, from behind yourself you hear loud fireworks go off down the street creating a loud crackling sound. “I cant believe you came!” says a man with shaggy brown hair coming out of the trees. He is probably in his thirties, you think to yourself, “Take this! Don’t give it back and start running!” he said in a shaken voice as he hands you a small, gold elephant with a crooked trunk. You realize that he is a burglar. You start to get confused, but before you can ask anything the man is gone. ‘PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!’, suddenly, the FBI came out of the trees. You listen to them and do exactly as they say. Continue reading

  18. You wake up in one of those rooms that the police interview criminals. Out of the corner of the room a policeman comes in with a beige folder in his right hand and sits down in front of you. “Let me ask you something, how could you steal one of the most precious artifacts in the world, located in one of the most highly armed museums in the country?”, you reply, “I don’t know. Last night a man gave it to me in the forest at 12:00 last night.” he stares at you for a second and says, “My apologies. You are obviously not the robber” The police man sends you home. The next day you take a walk for some fresh air when you see the same man that was in the forest! You decide to chase him You decide to call the cops right away

  19. He sees you and starts running and you decide to chase after him! Without looking at where he is stepping he trips over the ledge of a sidewalk, hits his head, and faints. You quickly call the cops and explain the situation and hold him down so he can’t run away again. One minute later the police come and take him away while he is still unconscious.THE END

  20. You quickly pull out your cell phone and call the cops explaining where you were. Two minutes later a police car came but he had gotten away. The next day on the news you hear that the Declaration of Independence has been stolen by the same man that got away.THE END
