  4. Rev 19.13 “The Word of God” • Question: "What does John mean when he declares that Jesus is the Word of God?" • John chose this name to pinpoint to His audience something very important about Jesus. • It’s a name that declares the Deity and Perfection of a man named Jesus Christ.

  5. Logos • The Jews used Logosas a term which emphasized God’s revealed will or message. • Here’s what God has done and said. Revelation • To the Greeks, the Logos was thought of as a link between a transcendent God and the material universe. • A mediatorbetween God and the world. • How can man relate to God?

  6. Who could do that? • One who is both God and man!! • In Jesus we have both. • He behaved like God and talked like God because He was God. • He was and is the Message/Logos from and about God.
