  2. Who was Merlin? • Merlin was a wizard and Celtic priest who helped King Arthur in many ways. • He also was a prophet who predicted many important historical events in the middle ages.

  3. How did Merlin help King Arthur? • Merlin helped King Arthur by schooling him as a young boy , and helping him find the Holy Grail. • He also suggested that the true heir to the throne would be proven in a test that involved pulling a sword from a stone. • He also helped establish the Round Table.

  4. Merlin’s Talents. • He was a highly skilled prophet who predicted many wars and heirs to the throne. • He also was a great strategist who helped win many wars.

  5. Where did Merlin live? • At first Merlin was a hermit who lived in a cave in a South-West Wales market town of Carmarthen. • After he met Arthur though he moved to the castle.

  6. How did Merlin affect people today? • Merlin is said to have created Stonehenge a famous statue which still puzzles people to this day. • His story is also painted on the halls of the British Parliament.

  7. Who was Merlin’s enemy? • His enemy was Morgan le Fay an evil sorceress who’s skills rivaled his own. • He was also enemies ,but also in love with the Lady Of The Lake.

  8. How did Merlin die? • Legend has it he fell in love with an evil nymph known as the Lady Of The Lake. • She trapped him in an oak tree where he died.
