Conclusions • Our data confirmed the prognostic value of • EGC definition • T2 cancers are not necessarily to be considered • as advanced disease • Stage Ia and Ib should be evaluated as a single • class of pts with a good prognosis • T2 cancer updated classification is not likely • to provide further prognostic indications
