  2. summary In the play, Macbeth by William Shakespeare the story takes place in Medieval of Scotland. Macbeth, and Banquo see the three witches. The witches predict that Macbeth will one day become king. King Duncan arranges to visit Macbeth at his castle. Macbeth cannot stop thinking about when the witches said that he would become king. Macbeth decides that he will murder Duncan. Macbeth's wife makes him kill the king. Macbeth has Banquo murdered and he tries to kill Fleance, because he wants to stop Banquo’s son from becoming king. Macduff kills Macbeth and the witches prediction proves true. Malcolm will be king.

  3. “when you durst do it, then you were a man”(shakespeare17). Macbeth Lady Macbeth • Lady Macbeth is convincing Macbeth to kill the king. Lady Macbeth means that if he kills the king he is a man, but if he doesn’t want to kill the king he’s not a man. Lady Macbeth uses her powerto make Macbeth kill the king because she wants to be queen. Lady Macbeth doesn’t care if Macbeth becomes a king or not, the most important thing she wants is to be Queen. The relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth is what drives the action and causes violence.

  4. “O, treachery! Fly good fleance fly, fly, fly! Thou mayst revenge. O slave”( Shakespeare 40). Macbeth Banquo • The three Murders kill Banquo. Banquo tells Fleance to run because he doesn’t want them to kill his son too. He tells his son that they are taking revenge by killing him. Macbeth doesn’t want Fleance to be king. Macbeth has blind ambition. Banquo’s relationship with Macbeth is so close at the beginning. However, Macbeth kills Banquo because he doesn’t want to give up the crown. Macbeth kills Banquo because he thinks that if he doesn’t kill Banquo the family is going on to become kings. Banquo and Macbeth’s relationship is complex and make the story become complicated.

  5. “lesser than Macbeth, and greater”(Shakespeare 6). Three witches Banquo • The three witches are talking to Banquo. They tell him that his family’s future is going to be better then Macbeth’s family, but however Macbeth is going to kill Banquo, and Banquo will not be a king. Banquo doesn’t trust the witches. He thinks that they should question the witches power. The relationship between the witches and Banquo is effect the story by forcing Macbeth killing Banquo.

  6. “unsex me here and fill me from the crown to the toe,top-full of direst cruelty make thick myblood”(Shakespeare 12). Duncan Lady Macbeth • By saying unsex me Lady Macbeth means that she wants to change her gender to another gender. Lady Macbeth makes Duncan relax so that Macbeth could kill him. Lady Macbeth is planning the murder with her husband. Lady Macbeth expected that Macbeth will be king after the murder. The relationship between Lady Macbeth and Duncan make the story become difficult because they have to kill the other people that come after Duncan. Lady Macbeth’s ambition to be powerful and kill Duncan starts a series of bloody crime.
