  18. Hope: God Has a Plan!Looking Back: Hope from the Past Jesus = Yeshua = “The LORD Saves” Matthew 1:21 • She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ. • And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.

Hope: God Has a Plan!Looking Ahead: Hope for the Future Jesus Christ (Messiah) • God’s timing is perfect, overcoming obstacles to bring good out of any situation Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

  27. Mark 1:14-15 - Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.“The time has come…the kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” • Ephesians 1:9-10 - he made known to us the mystery of his will…which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.
