Formative #1 THE SOLAR SYSTEM By: Hansen A.K/ 6D
EARTH ~ Earth is the third planet from the Sun, and the fift largest planet in the Solar system. It is also the largest of the Solar System's four terrestrial planets. It is sometimes referred to as the world, the Blue Planet, or by its Latin name, Terra.
FACTS ABOUT EARTH - Spins on its axis The Earth spins or rotates on its axis in a counterclockwise motion, as viewed from above the North Pole. It makes one revolution in 24 hours. The spinning of the Earth on its axis is what makes the Sun to look like it’smoving across the sky. - Satellites The Earth has only one moon, while Mars has two moons and Jupiter has 9 moons
EARTH DETAILS Size The diameter of the Earth at the equator is 12,756 km (7,926 miles), and its circumference or distance around the Earth at the equator is 40,075 km (24,901 miles). Gravity Gravity is the force at a distance that attracts objects of mass toward each other. The force of gravity from the Earth holds down our atmosphere, oceans and everything else.
Composition of Earth and its Appearance Any group of diverse materials can be classified by chemistry or physical properties. Chemistry refers to different materials, and physical properties refers to such things as whether the materials are solids or liquids, etc. Some physical layers in the earth consist of 2 chemical layers and some chemical layers consist of 2 physical layers.
Earth’s Atmosphere & Temperature Solid and liquid The percentage composition of the Earth's solid and liquid materials (by mass) is: Percentage Iron 34.6% Oxygen 29.5% Silicon 15.2% Magnesium 12.7% Nickel 2.4% Sulfur 1.9% Titanium 0.05% Temperature The average temperature of Earth according to NASA figures is 15°C. The hottest temperature ever recorded on our planet was 70.7°C in the Lut Desert of Iran in 2005. On the other end of the spectrum, the coldest temperature recorded on Earth was in Vostok, Antarctica at -89.2 C. If it were not for the natural greenhouse gas effect of our atmosphere, our planet would plunge to a chilly zero on the Celsius scale.
Human Being Fare on Earth I think earth is the right place for humans because there is 02 (oxygen) that humans need and many source of food and drink. The gravity also helps Human to balance on the ground an not float. The temperature is also very relative to our needs as it’s not THAT cold or THAT hot as we’ve got diferent seasons and weathers in different places too.

Conclusion~ My conclusion is that the earth is the right place for human as the gravity, food and drink source, weather and others relate to human’s needs as the other planets today were still unable to live in without the astronout suits and costume as the criterias of human’s survival are not complete.
