  3. AgWG Recommendations • NACD BMP Project • overview • New York USC Represented added perspective not included in report • protocol final by 12/11; draft by mid-year • reconvene federal/state representative group • utilize term non-cost-shared versus voluntary

AgWG Recommendations • BMP Evaluation • model assumptions can move forward with evaluation but will not be available for model adjustment until Phase III • leave Non-Cost-Shared BMP priority at existing level • discussed additional EPA technical and financial resources to assist in evaluating BMPs • will post BMP priorities on AgWG webpage; copies available to workgroup now • DE Filtrexx project will be combined with Ag Stormwater BMP • MD requests that Commodity Cover Crop be expanded to include their previous request to evaluate cover crops in an overall evaluation; i.e. traditional • after review of priorities, VA and MD proposed to accept existing priorities • PSU questioned the ranking of liquid manure injection/incorporation; okay with current priority • approved existing priorities

AgWG Recommendations • CNT Evaluation • Bill Keeling: background of CNT development under Phase 4.3 • Jeff Sweeney: background on currently approved BMP and how modeled in Phase 5 • VA and NRCS motions that the CNT be re-evaluated for the current modeling definition: approved • proposal to develop a draft CNT definition through a sub-workgroup; not approved • PSU believes it would be valuable to re-evaluate CNT with the new data; VT now has data available • VA motions that an interim CNT BMP be submitted to the CBPO by VA, PA, MD and WV for CBPO provisional approval that will allow multiple BMP stacking, and that the AgWG move forward with developing an approved BMP through the BMP Protocol process WV seconds: approved
