The ATRIUM project aims to test high-demand applications on an MPLS and QoS-enabled network. This testbed is established using remote Points of Presence (POPs) interconnected via physical and virtual connections. GEANT provides two virtual connections, linking the ATRIUM POP in Posnan with the Paris POP and Telefonica in Spain. The network will integrate various NRENs like Renater and Rediris to facilitate testing. Future plans include developing a second virtual link from Paris to Telefonica, enhancing connectivity options for rigorous application evaluations.
