  6. RULE #3 • BE PREPARED FOR CLASS…Bring all necessary materials to class EVERYDAY. Take all materials with you when you leave • Being prepared also means that you are involved in the class discussion

  7. Rule #4 • Treat EVERY person in this room with dignity and respect: • THIS MEANS THAT YOU DO NOT TALK WHILE OTHERS ARE TALKING, YOU RESPCTFULLY DISAGREE WITH ANY COMMENTS/OPINIONS, AND YOU DO NOT USE INAPPROPRIATE OR DISRESPECTFUL LANGUAGE WHEN SPEAKING TO OR ABOUT OTHERS Think Aretha Franklin… R.E.S.P.E.C.T

  8. Rule #5 • Follow ALL procedures & policies outlined in the WFHS and HUSD handbooks. • For example: ABSOLUTELY NO cell phones under any circumstances (I will confiscate them immediately!), no hats, no gum chewing, no food, etc, etc.

  9. This classroom is drama & whine-free! • This classroom is a “NO Whining Zone.” That means that there will be no whining for ANY reason. This includes: Mrs. Kaaaaammmraaaath do we really have to write 75 pages, sighs, grunts, eye rolls, etc. • Everything that I do is in your best interest, so please…respect the “NO Whining Zone.”

  10. Not following guidelines will result in: • 1st: Warning and documentation • 2nd: Parental Contact and 15 minute detention – before, lunch, or after school – my choice! • 3rd: Disciplinary Referral and 30 minute after school detention
