  2. Money Ball Toss • Foam Ball • Divide the ball into X# sections • Write one number in each section • Use any of the questions for each number Arkansas Framework: M.12.K.4, M.12.1.4, M.13.1.4, M.13.1.6, M.13.2.4, M.13.2.5

Toy Store Money Match • Students are given a toy with a price tag and must put it with others in the same price range….“Less than 10 cents,” “10 cents and less than 20 cents,” “20 cents and less than 30 cents,” “30 cents and less than 40,” and “40 cents and more.” • Everyone gets a set of coins that matches the price on one of the toys. • The students have to find the toy they can exactly purchase using all their coins. • The students will determine other coins that would also exactly buy the toy and take their coins to the BANK to exchange. • The students complete a worksheet Arkansas Framework: A.4.K.1, A.4.K.2, A.4.1.1, M.12.K.4, M.12.K.5, M.12.1.4, M.12.1.5, M.12.2.3, M.12.1.6, M.12.12.4

  5. Toy StoreMoney Match After everyone has completed the money activity connect this lesson to Data Analysis and Probability. Have students line up, one in front of the other in each of the price ranges for their toys, making a Human Bar Graph. Discuss how they can see which group had the most toys, make true statements about the graph. Have them write their prices on sticky notes (everyone use the same size note) and make a replica of the Human Bar Graph on the wall.
