There are many rules and regulation for distance education is being revised at a certain period on a regular basis. The UGC (university grants commission) has reportedly upgraded the terms and conditions for in the distance education scheme.
Let’s talk about specifications of the Distance Learning Universities in India; • Regulation 2017 • According to the UGC, every university must provide the distance education scheme under the 2017 rule. The offer of distance education must be six months before the commencement of the regular course this to help the students who are intended to apply for the higher education, and this rule has passed on June 23.

But MBA and MCA are allowed to be studied in distance education according to the India education board norms.
Online course • There is no distance course offered through online which is approved by UGC.
