  7. Component:Water tank, Humidifier, Device.

  8. Clearing Water tank • Disconnect the tubing from the water chamber. Press down on the water chamber and slide it out of the humidifier platform. • Open the silica gel cover of water chamber and discard any remaining water. • Fill a solution of warm water and a mild dishwashing detergent into the chamber, cover the silica gel cover, rock the chamber a few minutes, then outflow the solution. Rinse the chamber several times with clean water and allow to air dry. • Fill the water chamber and close the silica gel cover. Inspect the water chamber for any leaks or damage. • Replace the water chamber if any damage is present.

  9. DISASSEMBLE • Open the cover of the filter carefully. And then take it out.

  10. DISASSEMBLE • Press the button at the bottom of the main machine, then pull the heated humidifier.

  14. AutoCPAP SET UP • Verify/Change the RESmart USER settings. To start thesetup menu, press and hold the Ramp button until the setup menu appear (about 5 seconds) when system standby. • IMPORTANT! Press the Ramp Button to enter change status and press +/- User Buttons to change the setting. Press Ramp Button again to confirm the setting. • Press +/- User Buttons to access the next setting.

  15. AutoCPAP SET UP • Setting the Humidifier When the optional InH2™ Heated Humidifier is used, this setting can change the temperature and humidity of airflow between level 0 to 5. Default setting is 3.

  16. AutoCPAP SET UP • Setting the Altitude The altitude setting can be changed between level 0 to 2. Default setting is 0. • 0 = less than 2,460 ft. (<750 m) • 1 = 2,460 to 4,921 ft. (750 m to 1500 m) • 2 = 4,924 to 8,202 ft. (1501 m to 2500 m) • *over 8,202 ft. = The airflow pressure may not be accurate. Contact your home care provider to have your pressure setting adjusted.

  17. AutoCPAP SET UP • Setting Auto ON When the RESmart Auto is standby and wearing mask, your deep breath will start airflow automatically. Default setting is Enable.

  18. AutoCPAP SET UP • Setting Auto Off When the mask is removed, the RESmart Auto will stop airflow automatically. Default setting is Disable. • Note:We advice you can set Auto Off is Disable. Most machine may appear this kind of problem, because apnea and mask off  is not to be judged at pressure lower than 7 hpa.

  19. AutoCPAP SET UP • Setting the LCD Light This setting allows you to adjust the LCD light among Auto, On and Off. Default setting is Auto. • Auto: LCD light will be turned on when any button pressing and turned off after few seconds. • On: LCD light will be turned ON always. • Off: LCD light will be turned OFF always.

  20. AutoCPAP SET UP • Setting the Alert • This setting allows you to turn on/off the patient disconnect alert. When a large, continuous air leak (such as mask removal) has been detected in the circuit, this setting enables/disables the audible alert (a beeping sound). This setting is only effective when the Auto Off setting is disabled. Default setting is Disable.

  21. AutoCPAP SET UP • Setting the Reslex The Reslex setting displays the Reslex level set by your home care provider. This setting allows you to adjust the level of air pressure relief that you feel when you exhale during therapy. Your home care provider may have already set a Reslex level. If this is not comfortable for you, you can increase or decrease the setting. The setting of “1” provides a small amount of pressure relief. To increase the pressure relief, change the setting to “2” or “3”. Default setting is 0 (disable).

AutoCPAP SET UP • Delay Off Setting When the optional InH2™ Heated Humidifier is on, the machine will continue working for about 15 minutes at a very low pressure (about 2hPa) after RESmart Auto was turned off. This function will blow off the left vapor inside and protect the machine. Default setting is Enable.

  24. AutoCPAP SET UP • Sensitive Setting The Sensitive Setting is only available on Auto CPAP mode. This setting can be set from 1(At level 1, the treatment pressure will increase slowly) to 5(More faster than level 1). Default setting is level 3.

  25. AutoCPAP SET UP • Date Setting The current date is displayed and can be modified if needed. • Note: Check and confirm this Date Setting frequently to ensure the usage blog is correct.

  26. AutoCPAP SET UP • Use Days The number of nights the RESmart Auto was used for therapy for more than 4 hours will appear. This screen is only for reference. Your home care provider may periodically ask you for this information.

  27. AutoCPAP SET UP iCode • It is an information code. Default setting is Disable. • If you set enable. You will see using information with 1,7,30,90,182,365 day when you serially press Heated Humidifier Button on standby . The information include P95 pressure, AHI, SNI and mean pressure. • iCode need to be translated by RESmart iCode software.

  28. AutoCPAP SET UP • Exit the Settings The settings are complete. Press the +/- user button to access the SAVE setting and Ramp Button to save all changes and exit the settings menu.

  30. AutoCPAP SET UP • Entering the Menu: • Power off the machine • Press and hold the Pressure Start/Stop Button and Ramp Button while connecting the power cord into the AC inlet. After several seconds the Maintenance Menu will appear on display screen as below.

  31. AutoCPAP SET UP • IMPORTANT! Press the Ramp Button to enter change status and press +/- User Buttons to change the setting. Press Ramp Button again to confirm the setting. • Press +/- User Buttons to access the next setting as below.

AutoCPAP SET UP Treat Pressure: • On Auto mode, this pressure is minimum pressure. • On Titrate mode, this pressure is set as the prescription pressure or less. • On CPAP mode, this pressure is the prescription pressure after ramp time. • Setting range is 4-20hPa. Adjustment step is 0.5hPa. Default setting is 8hPa.

  34. AutoCPAP SET UP • AutoCPAP’s operation on Auto mode The pressusre will change from ‘Treat P’ to ‘Max APAP’

  36. AutoCPAP SETUP Max APAP: • This setting is the maximal pressure which AutoCPAP system can reach. Default setting is 16hPa. Note: this setting is not effective on CPAP mode.

  37. AutoCPAP SET UP Manual Pressure: • This setting is only available on CPAP mode. This setting allows user to adjust APAP pressure by himself. Setting range is 0-2cm H2O. Adjustment step is 0.5cm H2O. Default setting is 0. • For example: If this setting is 1cm H2O and Treatment Pressure setting is 8cm H2O, user may change the treatment pressure between 7-9cm H2O by pressing +/- User Button.

  38. AutoCPAP SET UP • Ramp Timer:The ramp time is from starting pressure to prescription pressure. Setting range is 0-60mins. Adjustment step is 5mins. Default setting is 15mins. The pressure will not change during the ramp time (initial pressure).

  39. AutoCPAP SET UP • Ramp Starting Pressure: • The starting pressure after blower is turned on. Setting range is 4hPa to Treatment Pressure. Adjustment step is 0.5cm H2O. Default setting is 4cm H2O.

  40. AutoCPAP SET UP • Unit: • The unit of the output pressure, selectable between hpa and cmH2O.

  41. AutoCPAP SETUP • Use Time: Total hours this RESmart has been used will appear. This number is only for reference.

  42. AutoPAP SETUP Mask Test: • This function is used to calibrate the exhaust flow of mask which is not provided by BMC. Connect the RESmart device to mask with tube and seal the cushion, which is the patient interface of mask by hand. Press the Ramp button to start the self-test. RESmart device will start the blower and calibrate the exhaust flow of the mask. The self-test lasts for about 1 minute. The blower will stop after the self-test is finished. During the self-test, make sure that there is no leak between the hand and the cushion.

  43. AutoCPAP SETUP • Save and Exit: The settings are complete. Press the +/- user button to access the SAVE setting and press Ramp Button to save all changes and exit the Maintenance Menu. • IMPORTANT! To make all changes active, press the +/- User Button to access the SAVE setting and Ramp Button to save all changes and exit the Maintenance Menu.

  44. Hide function • The device can be read using information(AHI,SNI, compliance, P95 and Mean P )of last night, when you press Ramp button then press + or – button at the device standby mode.(1.79 version later)
