THINKING FOR LIFE

This overview documents initiatives at Cardiff High School focused on integrating transferable skills into education between 2010 and 2013. WHAT IS IT? • Year – long individually tailored programmes for years 7 – 13 and taught by ALL staff • Creatively combines, essential skills, thinking skills and PSE within reality based context for lifelong learning • Draws upon school ethos for research and cutting edge learning and teaching methodologies • Fortnightly, based on flexible curriculum arrangements • Training for staff • Supported by co-ordinators
