  5. Russian National Flag • Meaning of the colors: • White~ symbolizes nobleness, freedom and greatness; • Blue ~ symbol of honor, and is still considered the color of the Mother of God, Patroness of the Russian ground; • Red~ symbolizes courage and magnanimity

  6. The National Emblem • This is one of the oldest symbols of; (1) the struggle of good against evil, (2) light against gloom, (3) the symbol of defense of fatherland. • The eagle has a scepter and an orb. • Above the heads of the eagle there are presented three historical crowns.
