Agendas are the primary source of communication for any and all parents. They are used to tell you how your child is behaving in class, to copy homework, and for any reminders. • Please make sure that you are reading the agenda every single night, discussing any concerns that the teacher wrote to you in the agenda, and signing it every single night Communication
A list of all of the teacher emails in the school has been provided in the packet. • If you have immediate questions, please email your child’s teacher and they will email you back at their earliest convenience. • It is important to keep strong communication between the parents and teachers. • This is so your child will be successful. There is a list of homework strategies to make sure that your child makes the most of the work they do at home. • Please follow the directions provided and implement them in your home. • We recommend starting homework as soon as they get home so they are not too tired by the end of the evening. • Any questions? This is the Somerset folder for every child in the school. • Please review the folder over the weekend and return the folder to school on Monday with the signed papers inside. • You will sign the weekly grade sheet and any D or F papers that your child receives. • Please read over the Friday folder letter. • The A/B/C papers are for you to keep at home and celebrate! If your child is struggling in an area and needs extra practice or if they are advanced and you would like a way to assist them without completing workbook pages. Please speak with your child’s teacher directly, they will be able to give you helpful websites and strategies. Extra Help or Extra Work
