  2. In the country, people usually live in villages and own their own homes. They are one-story houses with a kitchen, living room and bedroom. Very few homes have indoor plumbing and have a well.

  3. In the city most people live in apartments. Some people own their apartment and some rent. An apartment has a kitchen, a bathroom and from one to three bedrooms.

  4. In apartments the toilet and the bathtub are in different rooms.

  5. The water in apartments is sometimes rusty and undrinkable. At times there is no water, or no hot water. Extra drinking water is kept in containers.

  6. At times the electricity does not work. Many cities have “roving blackouts” where they cut off power in different arts of the city throughout the day at certain times. This is to save electricity.
