  5. Cont. Review Box • Convert Mixed Number to an Improper Fraction • Multiply the denominator by the “regular” number • Add the numerator to step 1 or the multiplication (denominator x “regular” number) • Put answer in numerator • Keep the denominator • Example: • 1 ½ 2 x 1 = 2, 2 + 1 = 3 3/2
