  3. Characteristic of Barcelona: • Sagrada Familia (church) • Olympic stadium • La Rambla (main promenade) • Krištof Kolumb (statue which shows on America) • Paella (the most popular food) • Park Guell • Flamenco (the most popular dance) • Hospital de Santa Pau • aquarium

  4. SOMETHING ABOUT BARCELONA • Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain. It is also the capital of Catalonia. The city of Barcelona has a population of 1.510.000 people. • Barcelona has many parks. The most famous park is Parque Guell. • Barcelona is also the capital city of modernism. City, where arhitect Antonio Gaudi lived and worked, attracts milions of visitors from around the world. You can also see a few of his most important works. • Characteristic of Barcelona are also trees with Oranges.

  5. Day 1 (17.5.2010) • We spent our time in the city centre called La Rambla, then we had lunch and went to bed. • La Rambla is a street in central Barcelona. These are street artist.

  6. Day 2 (18.5.2010) • It was a very interesting day, because we went to school in Barcelona. We spent some time in the classroom with other kids, then we had time off. • After school we went to the Roman Catholic church called Sagrada Familia. If was very interesting. Then we went to bed.

  7. Day 3 (19.5.2010) • Park Guell is for me one the best things I saw in Barcelona. We spent some time in this park and we were watching all the buildings, which were very interesting. • We also went to the disco .

  8. Day 4 (20.5.2010) • We went to school, we played football with other kids, it was very funny. Then we had lunch. • Then we went to Hospital de Santa Pau. They showed us how they treat people there, it was very interesting.

  9. Day 5 (21.5.2010) • We went to town, there we saw a statue of Kristof Kolumb, which is very big and large. • We went to the aquarium. We saw a lot of different kinds of fish. • Then we went back home to Slovenia.

  10. FOOTBALL FANS • WE ALSO SAW A LARGE GROUP OF SUPPORTERS.

  11. MEMORIES FROM BARCELONA I SPENT A LOT OF FUN TIME WITH KIDS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. WE WERE PLAYING FOOTBALL TOGETHER, WE TALKED A LOT. WE ARE IN TOUCH TODAY! Made by Nika Bobinski, 6th grade LAST LOOK IN BEAUTIFUL BARCELONA!!!
