  9. Undo • Undo nearly all formatting or editing • Click the back curved arrow on Quick Access Toolbar • Hold Ctrl and press letter Z • Hold Ctrl and press letter Y to Redo Chapter 1

  10. More Tips For Moving Around In a Document • Press End to go to end of line • Press Home to move to line’s left margin • Move to beginning of words • Hold Ctrl • Press left or right arrow • Backspace: erases text to left of cursor • Delete: erases text to right of cursor Chapter 1

  12. Saving • Click File, Save • Saves file with current name • Ctrl + S • Click disk image on Quick Access Toolbar • Click File, Save As • Change the name or location of a document • Keep the original document intact Chapter 1

  13. Selecting Text Using the Mouse • Click and hold left mouse button • Double-click to select word • Triple-click to select paragraph • Hold Ctrl and click to select entire sentence • Selected text encased in light blue background Chapter 1

  14. Selecting Text Using the Keyboard • To select one letter at a time • Hold Shift • Press left/right arrows • To select one line at a time • Hold Shift • Press up/down arrows • Use Ctrl + A to select all text Chapter 1
