STEP 1 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc OPEN WINDOWS EXPLORER • In order to visualize thenew ADS Michelin ColombiaWebsiteyou’llneed to change some routinginformation in your hosts file. • Maybeyou do nothavepermissionsto do so. Sopleaseinvolveyour IT support to getthisconfigurationupandrunning. • Thispresentationwillguideyou to addthenecessaryinfousing Microsoft Windows 7.

  5. STEP 2 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc EXPAND COMPUTER THREE

  6. STEP 3 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc NAVIGATE TO WINDOWS FOLDER

  7. STEP 4 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc NAVIGATE TO SYSTEM32 FOLDER

  8. STEP 5 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc NAVIGATE TO DRIVERS FOLDER

  9. STEP 6 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc NAVIGATE TO ETC FOLDER

  10. STEP 7 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc CLICK TO EDIT HOSTS FILE • Click to editthe hosts file. Youmay use Notepadoryourpreferred editor to complete thetask.

  11. STEP 8 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc OPEN HOSTS FILE TO EDIT

STEP 9 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc INSERT THE PROPER INFORMATION • Nowyouhave to addthecurrentinformationdescribedbelowas youmayalsosee in theleftimage: • 177.52.131.73          www.michelin.com.co 177.52.131.73          author.michelin.com.co • Ifyouneed to revertthisconfiguration to checkonactual Michelin Colombiawebsitejustaddthesharpsign (#) in thebeginningoftheline, eg: • #177.52.131.73          www.michelin.com.co #177.52.131.73 author.michelin.com.co

  13. STEP 10 – C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc SAVE THE FILE AND CLOSE IT • Just savethe file andbrowse to www.michelin.com.co
