  3. Y Relationship – Update • Problem Statement: We give money to the Y… What do we get in return? What should we get? • Current Fee Structure: • $30 per person or $110 per family to “join the Y” • $15 per person to “join the Questors” • Meeting with SHY Exec. Director on October 11 • Expressed the frustration of the Questors • Acknowledged that the current situation is “broken” • Everything is “on the table” • Questor management of membership and program fees (based on fund raising, or other criteria) • Website membership and event registration

  4. Y Relationship – Update (2) • No fee changes for this year • We discussed the Questors seceding from the Y • Initial reaction was shock • After further discussion, even this was not rejected The Y wants to try to work with us to “fix” what is broken

  5. Review Recent Events • Deep Creek • Bank Account/PayPal • Poll/Survey Results • Yes to Bank Account • Officer Titles (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary) • Officers: Schenker, Walsh, Strazisar, Mincin

Deer Valley Campout • No break on campout fee, but may get free zip lines • Questors will prepare one meal • Activities: • “Straight Arrow” Archery competition • Pellet Guns • Zip Line • Pumpkin Carving (Steidl sponsoring prizes) • Team Building • Initiation Ceremony • Food preparation • Friday: Burgers, Dogs, Potato Chips, Wings • Saturday: Dinner, Late night snacks

  7. Fund Raising/Finances • Candy Sale • Initial e-mail blast went out on 30 SEP • Sold approx. __ boxes so far • Issues with Y support • Opportunity to follow up with candy sales after Halloween • Need better Questor support also • Wreath Sale • Coming up fast • Langley volunteered to coordinate
