  3. If You Don’t Have That… • 1040 on the SAT (Reading & Math) • Or • 22 on the ACT

  4. If You Don’t Have That… • Two letters of recommendation • SAT/ACT scores

  5. General Education Requirements • Unless you place out of a certain class… • English 101 and 102 • World Literature I and II • U.S. and Nevada Constitutions • Any Math class

  6. Distribution Requirements • Requires you to take a few classes outside of your Major’s content area • Three content areas • Humanities and the Fine Arts • Life and Physical Sciences and Analytical Thinking • Social Sciences • Someone taking a Social Sciences major (Psychology) would have to take classes listed under the other two categories

  7. AP/SAT/ACT • 4 on AP exam, 680 on SAT Reading, or 30 on ACT waive English 101 requirement, go to English 102 • 4 on AP Calc. exam waives Calc. I requirement, go to Calc. II • 630/28 skips Pre Calc., go to Calc. I • Save money on credits
