Enhancing Science Education in Public Sector Schools with Innovative Training

This year, three science teachers participated in a comprehensive 12-hour training course hosted by EDB, led by trainer Mr. John Polias. The course focused on essential concepts such as genres, generic structure, and language patterns. We also explored effective pedagogical strategies, emphasizing the dynamic interplay between spoken and written language. Following the training, we developed an implementation plan to apply our newfound knowledge to the junior science curriculum in the upcoming years. As Sir James Dewar said, "Minds are like parachutes. They only function when they are open."
