EmKey Pipeline Project Overview: Natural Gas Transport from Shale Exploration

In October 2012, a preliminary meeting was held to review EmKey's proposed pipeline project dedicated to transporting natural gas from new shale exploration sites. The planned route spans approximately 75 miles from Morrisville to Windsor, utilizing acquired rights-of-way and previously approved routing by the Public Service Commission (PSC). The project involves a 16” to 24” coated steel pipeline with a maximum pressure of 1400 psi. The process requires collaboration with various approving agencies, including environmental and safety assessments, and aims to notify landowners while preparing the PSC application.
