  2. K–3 Formative Assessment • DIBELS Next • Early literacy assessment in English and Spanish for grades K–3 provided by the Public Education Department to: • quickly identify the needs of each student; and • inform next steps with instant analysis, reports and instructional planning tools

  3. DIBELS Next Assessment Dates • Beginning of Year (BOY) – within first 15 days of instruction • Middle of Year (MOY) January 6th – 17th, 2014 • End of Year (EOY) April 28th – May 9th, 2014 • Ongoing progress monitoring between assessment periods

  4. DIBELS Next 2013-2014 Grade K-3 student growth from Beginning of Year (BOY) to Middle of Year (MOY) • Students scoring at or above benchmark • Kindergarten: 14% increase • 1st grade: 14% increase • 2nd grade: 4% increase • 3rd grade: 4% increase • Overall grade K-3 growth: 9% increase scoring at or above benchmark

  6. Contract Amendment • Contract: Amplify Education, Inc. f/k/a Wireless Generation, Inc. and the Public Education Department • The purpose of the Amendment is to amend the scope of work and add related compensation with an additional $350,000.

  7. Contract Amendment D. Deliverable Number 4 – Software Training Support • Upon Contract Execution through 6/30/14 • Amount Added to Amendment 1 = $350,000 (including GRT) Less Retainage @ 5% - $17,500 • Total Amount Not to Exceed: $350,000 • Amendment 1 Total = $789,992 • Amendment 2 Total = $350,000 • Total Deliverable 4 Amount - Not to Exceed = $986,412.09

  8. Deliverables • Contractor will provide additional: • School site visits for technical assistance and support • Master trainer professional development • DIBELS Next “How to Administer” trainings
