  1. Airliner Wireless Slate Downloading Connecting Getting Started

  2. Installing the Airliner Bluetooth • Go to main Trussville City Schools’ website • Select My TCS in the upper right • Select Software Installation Links • Scroll down and select Airliner Program • Select run and then run again. The installation may take 30 minutes or more so make sure you have the time.

  3. Installing Airliner Program • When the Install Wizard window appears, select Next. • Accept the terms and select Next

  4. Installing Airliner Program • Choose the setup type of install now and select Next • When install has been successful, select Finish. • The Start Center will appear

  5. SMART Board window • When the SMART Board window appears, select Don’t show this dialog again and NO.

  6. Start Center • The Start Center will appear on your desktop. • You will then be asked which galleries you would like to setup to use. I suggest selecting all galleries. The galleries consist of images, interactive simulations, etc. • This will take a while so be patient or find something else to work on for a while.

  7. Start Center • When the Gallery install is complete, select Finish.

  8. Connecting the Slate • Right click the blue Bluetooth icon and select Start Using Bluetooth. If you have a tablet, see the next slide. • Once the Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard, select Next.

  9. Bluetooth on Tablets • Select Start, All Programs • Toshiba, Bluetooth and then Bluetooth Settings

  10. Connecting the Slate • When the General window appears, select Next.

  11. Connecting the Slate • When the Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard appears, select Next.

  12. Connecting the Slate • When given the choice to choose the services that this computer will offer, select Bluetooth Serial Port only and then Next.

  13. Connecting the Slate • When asked if you want to setup a connection now, select Next.

  14. Connecting the Slate • The Bluetooth Device Selection window will appear where it is trying to discover the slate. Turn your slate on and press the small connect button on the back.If the slate is not found initially, select Search. • Once the SMART wireless slate has been found, select the image in the top window and then Next.

  15. Next time connecting the slate • You should not have to manually connect the slate next time like you have just done. • You are ready to go!

  16. Connecting the Slate • New hardware will be found and installed so just sit back and let it do it’s thing.

  17. Connecting the Slate • Once you see the message that the connection has been established successfully, you are ready to go. • Pick up your pen and begin writing.
